我會見了一名蘇丹兒童兵,他被極端主義民兵綁架了。作為他的第一堂訓練課
,他被迫殺死他的朋友和家人。他問我:“我有什麼錯嗎?”

十二年前,一位來自哥倫比亞街頭的童媽媽——被販賣、強暴、奴役——問我
:「我從來沒有夢想過。我的孩子可以擁有一個嗎?
我人生唯一的目標是讓每個孩子都能自由地成為孩子,

我記得我們從採石場的世代強迫勞動中救出了一個八歲的女孩。當她獲救後坐
在我的車裡時,她問我:
